The following itinerary provides an overview of the tour experience and can also be fully customized.
The starting and meeting point for our tour is at Barnardo Square on Dame Street. This is the public square and primary meeting point located directly next to the left side of Dublin City Hall.
The tour’s end point is at College Green on Dame Street. This is a three sided plaza in front of Dublin’s Trinity College.
David is easily one of the best tour guides that I’ve had in all of my travels. His warmth, energy and genuine love for what he does made the experience that much more enjoyable. We were able to see all of the points of interest in Dublin on our checklist along with many hidden gems that David showed to us. His pace and tempo were perfect and he was flexible when more time was needed or to pause for pictures. He provided us with links and suggestions after the tour for how to spend our remaining time in Dublin. I highly recommend David as a tour guide for anyone visiting Dublin.
We had such a great walking tour of Dublin with David!! We did it on our second day of our trip and it was the perfect thing to do early on so we could get acquainted with the city. Felt like we saw all the must see stops and we got a great lesson in Irish history along the way. David really knew his stuff and was such a great storyteller. I definitely felt as if I learned a ton in the three hours we spent together! Would highly recommend for anyone new to Dublin and/or wanting to learn more about Irish history! You won’t regret doing this – the experience was 10/10!
Our experience with the private walking tour of Dublin and with our guide David was exceptional. His knowledge about Dublin history, politics, art, literature and folklore is excellent and his energy level and enthusiasm for his city are passionate. David loves what he does and it shows. We travel frequently to Europe and have taken many walking tours, but David’s tour was a clear standout. We highly recommend his walking tour while in the beautiful city of Dublin.
